View Living was created by a partnership between an architect's practice and a firm of builders to address the fundamental shortcomings associated with traditional methods of project management in the residential sector.

A successful building project depends on the collaboration of many partners: the client, the architect, specialist designers and consultants, the builder, subcontractors, suppliers and statutory authorities. View Living's design and build approach integrates all members of the team from stage 1 and retains their expertise beyond handover to deliver appropriate aftercare. Genuine collaboration from the early project stages reduces the risk of human error, saves cost, encourages innovation and enhances design quality.

The management of financial risk is dependent on the elimination of uncertainty. This is achieved by collating and preparing accurate information and incorporating the practical experience and prices from specialists before the design is completed.

View Living's integrated design and build approach ensures surveys, site investigations and consultations with specialist suppliers and subcontractors are carried out at a much earlier stage. This ensures the design and cost plan are accurate.

In addition, provisional or approximate prices and inflated costs to cover risk can be eliminated. Our approach reduces uncertainty, minimises financial risk and allows us to deliver greater value for money.

Our in-house design team includes corporate members of the Royal Institute of British Architects, registered members of the Architects' Registration Board and chartered members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.

The design team is supported by engineers, town planning experts and specialist consultants such as ecologists and highways engineers.

The design process follows a strict quality management system based on the international standard ISO 9000:2015. This ensures all aspects of our service are delivered to the highest standards.
